When we talk about liability in these terms we mean every kind of liability arising under or in connection with this agreement including but not limited to liability in contract, tort (including negligence), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability (whether yours or ours) which cannot legally be limited, including but not limited to liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

We only provide the Readerama Sites for consumer use. You agree not to use our site for any business purposes, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

Our main service to you is hosting the Readerama Sites for you and other Users to buy and sell second hand books. We do not monitor content or listings on the Readerama Sites. To the full extent provided by laws, we have no liability to you for any loss or damage suffered that relates to a transaction between you and another User.

The maximum liability for any loss or damage caused by us in connection with the services provided to you under these terms shall not exceed the lower of the actual commission paid to us by you for use of the Readerama Sites or £1,000.

Platform availability

We aim to make the Readerama Sites available to Users on a 24/7 basis. We reserve the right to take some or all of the Readerama Sites offline as reasonably required for routine and emergency maintenance or repairs or to change and test new features. We will give you as much notice of such downtime as is reasonably possible. All communications using the internet may be affected by events outside our reasonable control.
