A good starting point for pricing your books is what you’d expect to pay in a charity shop. That gives buyers a sense of value and keeps things feeling fair.

It’s also worth having a quick look around before you set your price. What does the book cost new? How is it priced on other sites? Are there lots of copies available, or is it harder to find? Newer titles, hardbacks and scarcer books can often be priced a little higher, especially if they’re in great condition.
Don’t forget to think about postage too. For lower priced books, delivery can make up a bigger part of the total cost, so pricing with that in mind can really help.
