Sell Books Online

Selling books on Readerama is simple. Whether you are clearing space on your shelves or passing on books you have loved, you can list your books in just a few minutes.

Here is how it works:

1. Create your bookshop

First, create a Readerama account here.

Then go to Bookshop Settings and:

a) Choose your Bookshop name

b) Add your sending address. This is not visible on the website but is needed so we can calculate postage for the buyer.

c) Choose your postage options. We currently offer Royal Mail drop off, InPost Lockers and Evri Home Collection.

2. Connect your payments

To receive payments, you will need to set up a Stripe account. This is the secure payment system we use to send money to you and it only takes a few details and a couple of minutes to complete.

3. Add your books

Click “Sell Now” and add the books you would like to sell.

We have tried to make this process as easy as possible. You can enter the ISBN number (or scan the ISBN if you are using your mobile), upload a few photos of your book so readers can see the edition, cover and any marks, confirm a few details such as the condition and set your price.

Each listing takes just a minute or two.

Once your book is live, and your sending address and Stripe account have been set up, it will appear in your bookshop and in Readerama search results so other readers can discover it.

4. A reader buys your book

When someone buys your book, you will receive an email with the order details and a pre-paid postage label.

5. Post your book

Package the book safely and send it using the postage option you selected when setting up your shop.

6. Get paid

Once the buyer confirms that everything is ok, the money is transferred into your Stripe account.
